We seem to do this hike almost every year any time from late spring thru late fall:

09/23/2015    Briones Res.    So Shore from Bear Creek to Dam (S)
11/16/2016    Briones Res.    South shore Bear Creek to Dam with shuttle
08/15/2018    Briones Res.    South shore from Bear Creek to dam; lunch at Briones RP (S)
06/30/2021    Briones Res.    So Shore from Bear Creek to Dam w/ shuttle
09/19/2022    Briones Res.    South shore from Bear Crk to dam; driver shuttle 

There were 10 of us today. About perfect walking weather, and this route has plenty of dappled shade as well. 3.5 miles
